What’s New with PerformanceXtra?

As many of you know, my work with athletes and teams through PerformanceXtra has been a part-time venture for the last couple of years, but as of January 2014 this has changed.  PerformanceXtra is now my sole focus and mission, and I’m excited for the challenge.  Originally, I started this business for two reasons:

1.  To include competitive skills directly into how we teach sport so that young athletes learn a productive mindset that will enable them to perform their best more consistently.

2.  To help promising athletes reach their potential more quickly so that they do not regret the things that they could have done, but didn’t do.  That’s the mistake I made and I don’t want others to repeat it.

Now that I’m full-time with PerformanceXtra, I have the capacity to take on a few more private clients in my 3 month Good Athlete to Great Competitor Transformation Program.  Do you know a promising athlete who may be struggling with any of the following?

  • Confidence
  • Focus
  • Anger and Frustration
  • Motivation
  • Success under pressure
  • Competing against better opponents
  • Over-thinking – analysis paralysis
  • Taking his or her game to the next level – High School to College, Local to National
  • Goals

If so, the Good Athlete to Great Competitor Transformation Program is what they need.  When I was younger, I was a talented tennis player, but I had no goals and no solid understanding of why I played tennis.  I didn’t understand the importance of focus and self-control.  I didn’t work nearly as hard as I could have and therefore, I didn’t get the results of which I was capable.  In my 30s, I had an awakening.  I realized that I blew my opportunity as a young player, and I regretted not putting in the effort.  Because of that, my desire to reach my potential got stronger so I started working on myself and my game.  Through research, study and practice, I put this program into place in my own competitive career, and can now share it with others.  I’ve done the work to put all of this information into a 3 month progression that will teach you foundational mindsets and competitive skills, and will give you practical tools to become the great competitor you want to be.  These concepts are applicable to any sport, and will help you be a more confident, focused and motivated competitor.

For the athlete that is serious and committed to learning these skills, this program works and I invite you to look at the Success Stories on the PerformanceXtra website to learn more.  Here’s an excerpt from a dedicated football player on the impact of this program on his career:

“As much as my physical training regimen and conditioning allowed me to find success this year on the football field, the hours I logged with PerformanceXtra have been equally, if not more important.”

To get started with the transformation, email me at brian@performancextra.com or call/text me at 774-285-4179.  Sessions can be in-person, via Skype or phone.  Anyone responding to this offer in the next 2 weeks will receive a 20% discount on the regular price of the program.  I look forward to helping you become the great competitor you’ve always known you could be!
